There's a little bird  
that somebody sends
Down to the earth 
to live on the wind.
Born on the wind 
and he sleeps on the wind

He's light and fragile 
and feathered sky blue,
So thin and graceful
the sun shines through.

He flies so high up in the sky
Out of reach of human eye.
And the only time 
that he touches the ground

누군가가 세상으로 보낸 
작은 새가 있습니다,
거친 바람 속에서 살기위해 
이 세상에 보내진거에요.
바람을 안고 태어나 
바람 속에서 잠이 들었지요.

이 작은 새는 누군가가 
세상으로 보낸것입니다.
새는 가볍고 연약하고,
하늘 빛을 띈 깃털을 가졌습니다.
너무 갸냘프고 우아하여,
햇살이 스며드는듯 했습니다.
 
바람 속에서는 사는 
이 작은 새는,
누군가가 세상으로 
내려보낸 작은 새였습니다.
 
그 작은 새는 사람 눈이 닿지 않는
하늘 높이 날아다닙니다.
오직 단 한번만
그 새가 땅에 닿을 때가 있습니다.
그건 작은 새가,
이 작은 새가,
작은 새가 죽을 때 뿐이랍니다.
